Grit Resources is looking for an experienced Stick Welder to join an excellent company here in the OKC area! This will be a 1st shift position offering the opportunity for overtime, and weekend work. If this is something that interests you, apply today!
Stick Welder Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operation of various equipment using the stick welding processes.
- Verify accuracy of paperwork as required.
- Ensure job orders always remain with parts.
- Sandblast and clean various components while standing for long periods of time.
- Weld carbon steel valve bodies and bonnets.
- Work and assist in other departments as required.
Stick Welder Skills and Requirements:
- Skilled in Stick Welding processes.
- Ability to read Engineering prints/drawings.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must lift to 100lbs on occasion with a lifting partner.
- Ability to be certified on Weld Test.
