We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programmer to join a great team in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, with specific expertise in using Catia software to develop and modify aerospace blueprints. This is a permanent position offering competitive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for aerospace components using Catia software.
– Interpret and analyze aerospace blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
– Collaborate with design engineers to ensure the accuracy and manufacturability of aerospace parts.
– Validate and troubleshoot programs to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards.
– Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, software updates, and best practices in aerospace manufacturing.
– Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.
– Document programming processes and maintain detailed records of revisions and updates.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming for aerospace applications.
– Proficiency in using Catia software for 3D modeling and programming.
– Strong understanding of aerospace blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical specifications.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to aerospace manufacturing.
