Print Production Specialist Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up a variety of digital press machines to produce printed materials including books, manuals, and reprints.

Perform bindery functions such as stapling, collating, and creasing/folding both manually and with equipment.

Set up, adjust, and operate power paper cutters to specified dimensions with precision.

Manage and fulfill print requests from the Quick Print section, including standard and custom-scheduled jobs.

Produce high-quality large format prints using appropriate media to meet output standards.

Ensure all printing equipment remains in proper working condition; perform routine maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.

Check designated communication channels (email, phone, written requests) for new job orders at least once per hour to ensure timely response.

Monitor and maintain inventory levels of paper and supplies for both daily operations and special projects.
Print Production Specialist Skills & Requirements:

Proficient in operating digital print production equipment (e.g., Xerox, Ricoh, or Canon digital presses).

Experience with finishing and bindery processes, including stapling, folding, creasing, and collating.

Knowledge of large-format printing processes and media handling.

Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance and repairs.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality output.

Excellent time management and organizational skills; capable of prioritizing multiple print jobs under tight deadlines.

Familiarity with print job ticketing systems and digital workflow software is a plus.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lift and handle paper stock and supplies, and stand for extended periods during production tasks.
