Metal Welder Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coach welders
- Assign daily tasks and track progress
- Read project schedules and plan shop workload accordingly
- Submit daily/weekly reports on progress, labor usage, and materials
- Communicate effectively with Production, Purchasing, and QC
- Conduct regular quality checks and ensure on-time completion
Metal Welder Skills & Requirements:
- 5-10 years weld/fabrication experience
- 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Lead welding experience.
- Fit-up experience.
- MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) experience.
