Generator Field Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot problems.
- Make all critical machine and engine repairs and adjustments while providing required information to service dispatchers.
- Follow guidelines when performing engine overhead measurements and adjustments within six weeks of hire date.
- Generator service reports, required oil samples, and inspections.
Generator Field Technician Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or three to five years related experience and/or training.
- Preferably AA in Applied Diesel Technology.
- Clean driving record and require CDL license within 90 days.
- Successfully complete Work steps assessment.
- Will be certified prior to operating a forklift and/or man lift.
- Complete certification of arc flash training.
- Must complete all EPG Level I training and/or demonstrated performance.
